Membership

Your membership in The Oliver Beach Improvement Association, Inc. (OBIA) has benefits! It allows you to purchase one key that opens each of the community boat launch ramps, have access to periodic community newsletters, and copies of the monthly minutes so you always keep up on the business of OBIA, rent the Community Hall at a members-only reduced rate, and - most importantly – have a voting voice in the issues that affect us all, as neighbors.

Your $30 annual family dues support the maintenance and upkeep of the Association properties and keep the business of the community running. Our membership revenue is used to pay for property insurance, property taxes, utilities, lawn cutting, property repairs, fire regulation inspections, newsletter printing and mailing costs, website hosting and domain fees, and more.

Your dues are OBIA’s primary source of income to keep things in good running order. Your membership card shows that you are an involved, caring neighbor. Even if you don’t have time to attend meetings, join committees, or pitch in on cleanup days, your dues mean a lot to your community. If you live in Oliver Beach and haven’t joined, please consider doing so. It’s easy.
